What gear do I need to bring on my trip?

The gear you’ll need to bring will depend on the package you select. If you selected a package that does not include food provisions, you’ll need to plan and bring your own food appropriate for the length of time you’ll be camping. For all packages we recommend bringing the following items with you on your hunt: sleeping bag, knife, fire starting device, water or water filtration system, layered clothing appropriate for most weather conditions and toiletries.

 

How many people can be packed into the wilderness?

For safety purposes, we require a minimum of two people in attendance on each trip. The US Forest Service restricts packing guides from bringing more than 12 heartbeats into the wilderness at one time. this means…

 

how much stuff can be packed in?

Each of our mules are capable of packing a total weight of 265 pounds. As a general rule, each mule will carry one rider and up to 150 pounds of gear. Individuals weighing over 265 pounds are not eligible to ride. Have a lot of gear? Additional pack animals can be provided for a fee.
